I saw a television political ad this morning said the old squirrel as we were having coffee.  It was Lisa Murkowski, for Senator Stevens.  He looked at me and then said   "Vote"

Wow, what  a media feeding frenzy we are seeing on our illustrious first lady of the state of Alaska.  It always amazes me, this kind of feeding frenzy.  That's what it reminds me of, said this old squirrel.

1945 Fairbanks...


This little book is a tourist booklet of Fairbanks Alaska in 1945. People who live here now will notice many landmarks. What caught my eye the most was the end of town. You will see it, look closely.

Club 11


This was one of Fairbanks premier steak houses, this card was from the owner before John & Beanie owned the club. The Gregs owned the club for many years until Johns passing. It was then sold but unfortunately it burned to the ground shortly after that.
