In this photo is one corner of our slide out in the RV. You can see some of the art created that adorns that corner. Notice the Krispy Kremes Donuts that are on the table. Instant Fat Pills.

I will carry this into the circle in honor of my Father-in-law: Kenneth J. Walton and his son John L Walton who kept it in his safe keeping until his wife returned it to me. I was told it was from Peru.

Thomas Jefferson

After the contentious election of 1800, Thomas Jefferson said this during his inauguration: Let us, then, fellow-citizens, unite with one heart and one mind. Let us restore to social intercourse that harmony and affection without which liberty and even life itself are but dreary things. And let us reflect that, havingbanished from our land that religious intolerance under which mankind so long bled and suffered, we have yet gained little if we countenance a political intolerance as despotic, as wicked, and capable of as bitter and bloody persecutions. - March 4, 1801

My apologies

Head in the Clouds
I've been posting mostly on the Squirrel Cam blog and have let this one kind of hang in the air. I'll try to post more often. To all my readers of this blog, I'm sorry

Red Winged Black Birds

Pretty Birds
I need more zoom. I had trouble getting close to these birds. I stood in a place with several birds around these bushes and this one electric pole. This one bird was harassing the other males and would fly down to buzz them. He would then fly back up to the top of the electric pole.

Scrub Jays

California Jays
They are very pretty birds, but this one would not allow me to be real close. I guess I'm going to have to get a better camera and a long distance lens if I'm to continue birding.

These are such smart little brothers of the Raven. A friend of ours who use to live here in California had a pet crow. She said, it was the smartest bird she had ever been around.

Palms and Cactus
The Cactus is blooming in the desert at the Oasis of 29 Palms. I wonder what it looked like when it was a spring in the middle of the desert 200 years ago.
