Squirrel Cam
The smoke has returned to the valley, every year in the last three years have been filled with smoke from the forest fires. It seems to me that the woods are dryer than normal, and I wonder if Global Warming has something to do with it. It's making life miserable for many here in the Great Land.
I just wanted to drop another picture of my favorite squirrels on the blog. Enjoy fellow squirrel lovers.

When I was in Alaska last year I couldn't believe what you guys had to deal with as far as smoke. My eyes were tearing for days.
ReplyDeleteThere is no doubt in my mind that our climate is changing. It has been so dry here (NJ) in the summers for the past 4 or 5 years... seems too consistent to be just coincidence
We watched a special recently that added to the level of fright I feel when I think about what we are doing to ourselves. It talked about Global Dimming. The theory is that there is so much polution in the upper atmosphere that the sun is dimmer and can't evaporate as much water. So everything is drier and drought is becoming more common. I don't think any of this is just a coincidence.
ReplyDeletehiya, this is Mrs. Jack from the squirrelboard, I wanted to tell you how much I love to browse your site. Alaska's been my pet dream since I was a little girl, unfort. the closest I've made it so far is Roslyn, Wa where they filmed Northern Exposure ha! someday though.
