Odd Spring Weather

Weather

The weather has been so odd this spring says Bubba.  First, it was later in coming.  Then, when it did come, we had a really high temperature warm spell.  Second, we now  have had a spell of colder than normal weather.  Third, it's been the windiest and breeziest spring, I can remember says the old squirrel.

Unusual Day Time Visitor

We  had a very unusual Visitor on the feeder yesterday morning.  After Daylight.  It's the first time I've had a flyer visit the feeder after the sun has risen this time of the year.   It may have been the big old owl that was hooting all morning that kept the flyers from the feeder.

Halloween was a Bust

Are you going to eat that all by yourself?

We went to the grocery store and bought three bags of candy for Halloween.  Not one ghost or goblin showed up at the door.  North Pole, weather and distance between homes doesn't attract the trick or treaters.  So, said the old squirrel, are you going to eat all that by yourself?

The Northern Flyers are out in force tonight at the old feeder.  They must be hungry and it's always fun to eat with the rest of the family.
