He showed up on the Feeder
The old squirrel must have been worried about the lack of Sun Flower Seeds, he showed up on the feeder tonight and ran the Flyers off.

It surprised me that the red squirrels eat in the middle of the night. I've enjoyed watching the "flyers". We have them here in Maine but see them rarely. When the amount of daylight lessens, what do the daylight feeders do? Eat anytime, like the red squirrel? What is in your 3 cups at the feeder? One looks like peanutbutter. Our chipmunks are still coming to the feeder and usually they are hibernating by now.
ReplyDeleteWe have had some cool temps here, in the teens and 20's but for the last 4 days it's been about 55 to 60! Weird. Waiting for our first real snowfall. Husband has the snowmachine ready to go.
Fairbanks had some beautiful aurora last night.

It's Peanut Butter and Molassses in the cup. With on cup having some frozen fruit. Peaches if my memory serves me right. The daylight feeder still feed mostly in the day, but will feed at other times as you see. Thanks for watching the cams.
