Mocking Birds
Mocking Birds
These are beautiful little birds. When I was a child, one of the first books I received was Adubon Illustrated Book of American Birds. One of the pictures was of two Mocking Birds in a bush protecting their nest from a rattlesnake.

Another RV Park Cat prowling the fence line behind the feeder. I have to keep running him off, he thinks those birds are for him. This is a tail less cat.

Oso Pier, was one of my favorite places to be when I was a teenager. I first came to Corpus to get away from my parents to live with my Aunt and Uncle. I spent many a weekend fishing from this pier being my grandfather ran the bait stand at the pier. It's old and tired now and not being used anymore. Sort of like me.
